Location : New Stanton, PA - On-site
Job Type : Contract to Hire
Work Authorization : US Citizen or Green Card
The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a Cost Accountant. Ideal candidates will have costing experience, either in a recent costing course or direct experience conducting cost accounting, and have a high competency with excel. Newer graduates through cost managers should apply - compensation is based on experience.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with production planning and inventory control
- Accurately record and maintain product costs
- Ensure accurate bills of materials are maintained
- Complete and review daily production entries and reports
- Enforce Company policies & procedures as related to production and cost accounting
- Provide cost input for projects such as bids and new product development
- Assist with production planning and inventory control activities
- Identify, research, and explain variances and trends to Management
- Prepare monthly reports for Management
- Assist with audits related to costing, inventory, and production
- Work closely with the Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments
