Overview:
The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a Controller to join a growing team. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 4 of those in a management role.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
- Review account reconciliations
- Review month end close
- Audit accounts in collaboration with external auditors
- Present financial reports outlining financial objectives and make recommendations to leadership
- Provide analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and local, state, and federal government requirements
Education Required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
Experience Required
- 8 years of experience in accounting
- 4 years of experience managing teams
- Experience with financial reporting systems
- High attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively via email, phone, and in person
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize
Salary : $100,000 - $140,000
