The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for a Sales Representative.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify business opportunities in industrial automation and controls
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and new leads
- Engage with prospects via LinkedIn and other social platforms to establish technical credibility
- Conduct cold calls and follow up on quoted opportunities to gather feedback and close deals
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service and support
- Manage the RFQ process and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries
- Develop and implement a CRM system to track sales activities, maintain an organized pipeline, and manage data
- Collaborate with internal marketing, engineering, and technical sales teams to align client needs with tailored solutions
- Participate in face-to-face sales calls, weekly planning meetings, and sales activity reporting
- Provide insights and feedback to enhance technical offerings and customer engagement
- Improve the brand by staying current with social media platforms, emails, and texting. Also keeping our website current and effective
- Attend and manage industry conferences and expos
Qualifications
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or related fields
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in selling services, preferably in the electrical, automation, or industrial sectors
- Design
- Installation
- Configuration
- Proven ability to sell complex, engineered solutions beyond basic product distribution
- Proficiency in CRM sales reporting tools
- Experience in lead generation, cold calling, and managing complex sales processes, including RFQs
- Experience creating and managing technical content for outreach and proposals is a plus
