The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Senior Clinical Applications Analyst This position will be responsible for the analysis, building, testing and implementing of information systems and solutions. The Senior Application Analyst is accountable for providing knowledge and skills in assigned software applications and various system environments. Functions as a technical resource and to provide knowledge in system installations, building, testing, customization and production support. Demonstrates elevated computer operational skills. Should be able to perform complex application diagnostics and troubleshooting. Onsite and looking for Cerner background.
Responsibilities
Maintains a level of cybersecurity knowledge sufficient to securely accomplish their job duties. Demonstrates a basic understanding and adheres to departmental processes for change control.
- Responsible for providing technical knowledge in the support of software applications and various system environments
- Responsible for directing junior level employees on task assignment for support and implementation effort
- Responsible for writing operational automation scripts and/or programs to minimize manual process
- Provides documented support tasks to be able to assist other department members or junior team members
- Performs the analysis, design, building, testing, and implementing of computer programs and systems
- Demonstrates and applies information systems theory, processes and methodologies
- Responsible for understanding and utilizing vendor’s version control methodology
- Responsible for system audit log review providing appropriate response
- Must understand end user workflow requirements that are supported by technology
- Translates user systems needs into alternative technical solutions
- Performs project reviews and process walkthroughs incorporating technical and business solutions that will enhance user productivity and department service levels
- In process or have completed certification/accreditation for specific vendor and/or governing body related to specific applications/tools for which responsible for reporting
- Responsible for extracting specified data from supported system(s)
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s and advanced certification preferred.
- Experience: 5-7 years of related information technology or clinical technical support experience. Preferred minimum of 3 years’ experience with system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation of applications within an electronic health record. Cerner experience preferred
