The A.C. Coy Company has an immediate opening for an SQL Developer position in the Burnham Illinois area. Ideal candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information with at least 5 years experience in an MSSQL environment with strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2017 and later.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL pipelines to integrate various sources of data, including Excel, Flat Files and REST API sources into MSSQL Server using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Utilize critical thinking in coordination with stakeholders in the development of T-SQL Database Solutions to meet various business requirements
- Create and maintains reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Monitor SQL Server Agent jobs, diagnose problems and implement resolutions as needed
- Improve and maintain existing database solutions
- Provide operational support, investigate problems that arise in database solutions and business applications
- Identify new technologies and resources to improve the information and technology landscape
- Maintain reference and standards documentation
- Troubleshoots issues with Access Databases and Google forms
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or comparable professional experience
Experience
- 5 years of experience in an MSSL Environment with strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2017 and later
- Proficient in T-SQL Programming
- Proficient in the use of MSSQL Tools, including SQL Server Management Studio,SSIS, SSRS
- Working understanding of Microsoft Access and Microsoft VBA
- Knowledge in C#, XML, JSON
- Familiarity in working with MySQL databases
- Knowledge of API Creation - a plus
- Experience wit Microsoft Azure- a plus
- Strong working knowledge of relational database design and best practices
- Demonstrated leadership, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with a team
