Overview
- Tier One Technologies has an immediate need for a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer/Architect for our US Government client.
- This will be a 100% remote contract-to-hire position.
- SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a small cross-functional team, participate in development and support the team's effort to maintain a secure web presence.
- Will be responsible for managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web-facing applications.
- Ensure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
- Implement observability across platforms for application monitoring and alerting.
- Deploy threat detection and mitigation techniques to ensure data/application security.
- Work with auditors to ensure security compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Information Security. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years of related experience in cybersecurity and NIST standards along with 5 years of technical writing.
- Previous experience with Human Code Defender product.
- Strong Networking knowledge.
- Must have a functional comprehension of web application architecture.
- Strong understanding of PCI Security requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- One or more of the following certifications:
- CompTIA Security
- CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
- CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
- CISSP
- CISSP-ISSEP
- CISSP-ISSAP
- CISSP-ISSMP
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
- Be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
- Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
- Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
