MISSION : Supports staff and field teams by organizing and maintaining materials and equipment, ensuring they are in excellent condition and readily available to keep projects running efficiently and smoothly. Prioritize safety, take responsibility for your work, and deliver outstanding customer service to ensure the success of A-C Electric Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Collaborate with external stakeholders; vendors, warehouses, transportation companies, and internal stakeholders; project managers, foremen, division managers to maintain a high-performing supply chain network of electrical materials and equipment.
Follows a clear process for handling material and equipment requests, while providing excellent and responsive customer service.
Operates as a Champion of Safety.
Owns the outcome of his / her work and that of the team.
Communicate with Material & Equipment Coordinator on daily job tasks and schedule.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES :
Review, verify, and enter incoming material packing slips : This involves checking the documentation accompanying incoming materials to ensure accuracy and recording this information for proper inventory management.
Maintain an organized and clean yard.
Report property and equipment damage : Promptly notifying management of any damage to the building, property, products, or equipment to ensure timely repairs or replacements.
Check-in materials for projects : Verifying the quantity and quality of materials received and reporting this information to project teams to ensure they have the necessary resources.
Provide assistance with receiving : Helping with the receiving process, investigating any missed shipments or damaged materials, and addressing issues as needed.
Review, verify, and fulfill MER (Material Equipment Request) received from the field : Ensuring that material and equipment requests from field personnel are reviewed, verified, and fulfilled accurately.
Perform pre-operation safety checks on equipment : Conducting safety checks before operating equipment and addressing any maintenance needs to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Refuel and prepare equipment : Handling tasks such as refueling, checking fluid levels, cleaning equipment, and conducting general maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition.
Perform loading and unloading : Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials in the field and yard as required.
Assist in jobsite cleanups to maintain a clean and safe work environment on projects.
Opening and closing of warehouse.
Ensuring materials and equipment are stored securely to prevent theft.
REQUIREMENTS :
H.S. Diploma or equivalent. Vocational, Technical or Junior College.
Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or construction materials management (preferred).
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and maintaining equipment.
Valid Class A drivers license. (No endorsements required)
Pay Range : $18.00 – $22.00 an hour . Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
First interviews will be conducted 2 / 5 / 2025 if selected.
