Customer Service Representative

Job Summary :

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and organized Customer Service Representative to join our pest control team. The CSR will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service by handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and resolving concerns. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for excellent service.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Interaction :

  • Answer inbound calls, emails, and messages professionally and courteously.
  • Assist customers with questions regarding pest control services, pricing, and treatment options.
  • Resolve customer concerns effectively and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Scheduling & Coordination :

  • Schedule pest control appointments and route technicians efficiently.
  • Confirm and remind customers of upcoming service appointments.
  • Monitor the daily schedule to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Sales Support :

  • Promote and upsell additional services or maintenance plans.
  • Provide accurate information on service packages, warranties, and terms.
  • Process service agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Administrative Duties :

  • Maintain accurate customer records in the company database.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
  • Generate and review service reports for accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration :

  • Communicate effectively with technicians and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide feedback on customer trends and recurring issues to improve processes.
  • Qualifications :

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
  • Experience :
  • Previous customer service experience is required, preferably in the pest control or service industry.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software or CRM tools is advantageous.
  • Skills :
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and active listening skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other standard office tools.
