Shifts: Sunday 7a-7p/ Tuesday 7a-7p / Wednesday 4p-7a/ Friday 7a-5p E/O Saturday 7a-5p
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort and safety for all clients.
- Assist individuals with disabilities in daily activities and personal care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Perform catheter care and other medical procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse.
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license in the state of NJ.
- Proven experience in patient care, particularly with individuals with disabilities
- Strong knowledge of internal medicine practices is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and families.
- Ability to lift patients safely when necessary, following proper protocols.
- Experience in a medical office or clinic setting is a plus.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
