- Monitor patient health by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including those with dementia or developmental disabilities.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and progress.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills in social work or patient observation are advantageous.
- Familiarity with dementia care, memory care, senior care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly valued.
- Certification in CPR is a plus.
