We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher for our infant/toddlers as well as a floater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a positive learning environment for children in our infant/toddler classrooms. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. You will work closely with children, parents, and staff to provide a supportive educational experience. We are looking for someone who is fun, loving, creative, dependable and is looking to make the Early Childhood field their career.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Monitor children's progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Engage with parents through regular communication regarding their child's progress and classroom activities.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met throughout the day.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment for all children.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students, including those with disabilities.
- Is able to bend, scat, sit on the floor and lift up to at least 50lbs.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to create an organized learning environment.
- Experience in preschool education or toddler care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure children's safety.
- Ability to educate young children using engaging teaching methods.
- Experience working with children in various settings, including nannying or babysitting roles.
- Understanding of the unique needs of children with disabilities to provide appropriate support.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
