Job Overview
The Assistant Director position at our center offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the educational development and growth of our early childcare program. This role involves supporting the Director in overseeing various administrative and academic functions to ensure the smooth operation of the center. Free childcare is included with this position.
Duties
- Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement strategic plans for the center.
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations, including covering ratios, office organization, and staff support.
- Coordinate student activities, events, and workshops.
- Provide guidance and support to families.
- Contribute to curriculum development.
- Assist in recruitment efforts for faculty and students.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
Experience
- Prior experience in a child care setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with child care laws and center rules.
- Experience working with young children.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students to achieve center goals
- Strong communication skills to educate and engage staff and families on center policies.
