We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in grooming various breeds of dogs and cats. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to ensure the health and well-being of our furry clients. Your role will involve not only grooming but also creating a welcoming environment for pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming for dogs and cats.
• Assess the condition of each pet's coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Handle pets with care, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area, including tools and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ needs, behaviors, and any concerns observed during grooming.
• Provide basic animal care services such as feeding, walking, or administering medications if needed.
• Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to enhance skills and service offerings.

Experience

• Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred with additional training provided for the right candidate.
• Skills in dog handling, animal care, or veterinary assistance are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and safety protocols is essential.
• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant, kennel worker, or in pet sitting can be beneficial.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care are crucial for success in this role.
