What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Assistant position at A&D Management, LLC?
Summary Description of Position: Oversee community improvements and owner relations. Serve as the leader of the community. Participate in board meetings, community activities, assist with owner assessments and fees, deed restriction violations, architectural control applications, and facilitate services with vendors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Represent the Board of Directors professionally and personably
· Facilitate owner relations.
· Oversee vendors and community committees
· Facilitate vendor services to improve the community
· Maintain the community’s books and records.
· Assist in the enforcement of deed restrictions and ACC Application process.
· Compile reports, prepare invoicing, assist with and monitor annual budget.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
· Attend and actively participate in community activities and board meetings.
· Communicate owners’ and community needs to the Community Manager and assist in problem solving.
· Coordinate submission of weekly reports and timesheets.
· Be on site to open community office three (3) days a week.
· Answer office phone (mobile) four (4) days a week
· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-year degree in a related field or three-year experience in a related environment
- Communicate openly and effectively, both oral and written, modeling leadership and teamwork.
- Understand and communicate community goals and objectives.
- Strong reading comprehension skills and eagerness to obtain a working knowledge of Texas homeowners association laws and best practices.
- Ability to communicate with the Association’s Legal Team.
- Ability to make independent decisions to benefit the community and owners.
- Ability to organize, handle multiple tasks and prioritize changing workload.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm in a crisis and communicate effectively with difficult personalities.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Must possess a current Texas driver’s license and maintain personal auto insurance.
- Must be able to routinely lift and carry 30lbs a short distance without assistance.
COMPENSATION:
$14.00 - $18.00 an hour
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
