Deed Restriction Inspector

Job description

Summary Description of Position: Performs inspections of residential properties for deed restriction violations. This job requires you to have a reliable vehicle, as you will be driving your own vehicle. This position reimburses you for mileage and toll fees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Assist in the enforcement of deed restrictions and ACC compliance.

· Compile reports and written correspondences.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Read and be familiar with deed restrictions. Visually inspect properties from public streets

• Note, photograph, and record new violations and update the status of existing violations

• Investigate complaints

• Take photos of violations

• Make recommendation for forced maintenance

• Document inspection results

• Note any obvious common area deficiencies, such as vandalism

• Monitor and document new construction

• Ensure that homes are in compliance with the Architectural Guidelines

• Prepare recommendations and prepare and mail approved Deed Restriction Violation Notices

• Attendance at monthly meetings

• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Communicate openly and effectively, both oral and written, modeling leadership and teamwork.

• Understand and communicate community goals and objectives.

• Strong reading comprehension skills and eagerness to obtain a working knowledge of Texas homeowners association laws and best practices.

• Ability to communicate with the Association’s Legal Team.

• Ability to organize, handle multiple tasks and prioritize changing workload.

• Ability to observe and pay attention to detail.

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

• Must possess a current Texas driver’s license

• Reliable vehicle with business car insurance

• Must have a clean driving record and meet criminal background requirements

Job Type: Part-time (10 - 15hrs a week)

Pay: $15.00 per hour
