Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and design. This role involves hands-on tasks related to the upkeep and enhancement of various residential-commercial and commercial properties. The Landscape Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' outdoor spaces are healthy, beautiful, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and implementation of lawn maintenance crews and select work order crews
- Communication direct to managing agent for all land and snow customers. Primarily emails. Including notices upcoming events, changes to schedule, and quality control reports.
- Recurring site visits for assessments of current conditions. Issues communicated properly to customers and crews be handled immediately. The goal is to be on a one week cycle and nothing past that. Issues reported today should be corrected on or before next weeks visit.
- Complete implementation of everything in contract such as flowers, gutters, maintenance, mowing items properly scheduled for most efficient routing.
- Assist with asset related maintenance tracking; for example, tire rotations on vehicles, oil changes, service intervals for equipment. Must notify owners of items in need of attention in a timely and preventative fashion. Assist it handling it.
- Quarterly sales goals, Independently earned, in addition to the assistance with other sales. Commission on all sales.
- Weekly summary emailed reports to owners informing key bullet points of past and future items. For example; working on a high profile bid, executed a successful work order, notification of maintenance needed on an apparatus, notification intent to pursue a new client for sales, notification of a new piece of equipment that is needed.
- Assistance with employee payroll hours, and distribution of payroll. Adjusting punch in and out times for guys that mess it up, etc
- Assistance and execution of office administrative related tasks. May need to help ensure compliance, package payroll checks, file receipts, check the mail box. Simple stuff.
- Attend customer board meetings and on site walk-throughs when needed
- Dedicated company vehicle. Paid fuel, maintenance and tolls.
- Paid cell phone. Dedicated office, computer and desk area
Skills
- Proficient in landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, tree care, and irrigation systems.
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively supervise team members.
- Knowledgeable in groundskeeping practices to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Capable of performing landscape related tasks with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
