Catalyst Technicians
No Experienced Laborers/Catalyst Technicians
Location: Pasadena, Texas 77503
Pay: $25 to $35/HR DOE
(Per diem, paid weekly/ Hotel accommodation will be provided by the company for out-of-town work activities).
Catalyst Technician will perform work as required to maximize the quality of the Company while maintaining the specified expectations of the client and ensure safe working environment while performing work.
Catalyst Technician will conduct all Company business in accordance with Company policies and procedures and maintain professionalism throughout all business dealings, both internally and externally.
The position of Catalyst Tech is a very physically demanding job: must be able to bend, stoop, walk, climb, squat, reach, kneel, push/pull, stand, sit, and lift more than 50 pounds. Catalyst Technicians will perform critical reactor and tower maintenance services to refineries and petrochemical facilities nationwide.
The position of a Catalyst Technician is responsible for day-to-day activities performed in client facilities; both inert and non-inert confined space entry atmosphere and to perform work toward its projects’ goal of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Service.
Essential Functions:
∙ Work is Immediately Dangerous to Life and Health (IDLH) confined space entry conditions.
∙ Operate and maintain all company owned or rented vehicles professionally.
∙ Maintain a clean environment and report unusual findings in vessels such as fused catalyst or hot spots, etc. to Supervisor.
∙ Unload and load tubular reactors and Single / Fixed bed reactors.
∙ Support the Supervisors by keeping work areas clear and free of obstructions.
∙ Learn the proper function and usage of the Life Support equipment and its safety factors along with rescue operations
∙ Wear the Life Support equipment on non-inert confined space entries and gain experience on its usage and safety for future growth and advancement.
∙ Monitor the surroundings and dangers associated with entering confined spaces..
Must have CURRENT: TXID/DL,TWIC, and Basic Plus.
Must provide own transportation to intown projects, travel time will be paid for out-of-town projects.
Must be physically fit, WORK SHIFTS ARE 10-12-HOUR DAY/NIGHT shifts WITH OVERTIME AVAILABLE. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN CONFINED SPACES WEARING PROPER RESPIRATOR PROTECTION (FULL FACE MASK) or LIFE SUPPORT HELMETS THROUGHOUT THE SHIFT.
YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO DIFFERENT AREAS WITH TEAM LEADS.
