Claims and Collections Coordinator

Duda Farm Fresh Foods, is currently looking for a Claims and Collections Coordinator to join our Sales team in Wellington, Florida. As a Claims and Collections Coordinator you will be responsible for handling the accounts receivable and claims process for Duda Farm Fresh Food’s Sales Force. The A/R responsibility for this role involves identifying outstanding invoice balances, reviewing payments for discrepancies and researching/resolving each issue. This position will also handle the claims process internally ensuring costs for any product claims and invoices adjustments are allocated correctly. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly organized, efficient with their time and a problem solver that works well within a team while interacting with customers, vendors, the Duda Sales team, shipping and corporate accounting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Review age of customer account balances and communicate with sales and customers for payment status.
• Identify customer payment discrepancies, performing the research on cause of discrepancy, and working with sales to determine appropriate next steps.
• Key in claim information to flow the allocation of costs appropriately.
• Work with sales and corporate accounting teams on customer receivable reports.
• Establish and build strong work relationships with all team members to ensure the successful and repeat delivery of services to customer accounts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with Sales team, customers, vendors, shipping and corporate accounting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
