Viera Builders, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of A. Duda & Sons, Inc. is seeking an experienced, full time Materials Field Verifier/Forklift Operator. Reporting to the Materials Department Lead, this position will be responsible for safely handling materials acquired by Viera Builders, Inc. The main position objectives are to stage the jobsites according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) aimed at minimizing material waste, increasing jobsite workflow efficiencies and ensuring the accuracy of the deliveries.

- Verifies the deliveries against the purchase orders to ensure that the correct materials and quantities are delivered to our jobsites.
- Identifies, communicates and follows up on material quality or supply and delivery issues.
- Stages material on dunnage per the department's SOPs in order to minimize waste and increase jobsite workflow efficiencies.
- Acts as the key daily onsite contact person for the frame labor trade partners, assisting the Materials Department Lead and Materials Department Manager in enforcing the frame labor trade partner SOPs.
- Responsible for safely operating and for operator level maintenance for a 6,000 lbs. rough terrain forklift.
- Assists the VBI Superintendents and assistant-superintendents in moving or resetting materials as needed to ensure a continuous workflow from jobsite to jobsite and from one phase to the next.
- Prepares leftover materials to be returned for credit per the department's SOPs to achieve a minimum of 90% material returned to actual credit received ratio (95% after 1.1.21). Maintain the yard and the packages to be returned in a constant state of readiness at a central location so that the delivery drivers can load an entire truck within 30 minutes or less. Leads the team of assigned Assistant-Superintendents during the daily framing phase leftover material clean-ups.
