What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non CDL Yard Jockey position at A. Duie Pyle?
A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, full-time Non CDL Yard Jockey in Westampton, NJ. Our Yard Jockeys may be asked to maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work.
Start Time : 3 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay Rate : $22.90 per hour Base rate will increase to $27.70 after 12 months of employment
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to :
- Must have Jockey(Hostler) experience
- Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
- Maneuvering the truck into loading and or unloading positions
- Visually inspecting trailers and or trucks before and after moving each
- Connecting tractors to trailers
- Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
- Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift
