What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Warehouser position at A Duie Pyle?
A Duie Pyle is seeking a Seasonal Warehouser to work in our Parkesburg, PA location. Our warehouse workers are responsible for safely loading and unloading, organizing, and packing and unpacking freight. Prior warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM ; Monday - Friday
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading trailers using appropriate equipment – carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Picking, packing, and staging freight for pickup
- Physically lifting and moving boxes
- Utilizing scanners to read, track and monitor freight throughout the warehouse
- Operating with a customer service first mentality
Position qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Prior experience in warehousing, freight and/or logistics preferred
- Ability to frequently lift merchandise weighing in excess of 25 lbs
- Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively
