A Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, full-time Dedicated CDL-A Yard Jockey / Driver in North Haven, CT. You will be maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions as needed.
Start Time : 6 : 00 PM start , Sunday to Thursday
Pay Rate : $ per hour; OT after 45 hours

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to :
- Start each day making a delivery, then do jockey moves
- Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
- Maneuvering the truck into loading and or unloading positions
- Visually inspecting trailers and or trucks before and after moving each
- Connecting tractors to trailers
- Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
- Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift
To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following :
- Class A CDL
- Minimum 1 year of recent CDL-A experience, van type trailer preferred
- Previous Jockey or Switcher experience (preferred)
- Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
- Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
