The Installation Technician reports to the Installation Manager and is responsible for performing a range of HVACR installation jobs for industrial, commercial, and residential customers. Customer-based activities require an individual possessing traits of decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgment, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate in a technically credible manner. Job-related contact can occur with virtually all demographic groups, with the majority of working contacts being customers, other technicians, the Installation Manager, the Estimator and the Parts Runner.
**Responsibilities: **
- Install HVAC systems, including heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment
- Interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and work orders to determine material requirements and installation procedures
- Measure and layout installation areas accurately
- Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components
- Test installed systems to ensure they function properly and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure all work complies with current HVAC codes and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and on time
**Required Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and insurable by the company’s insurance carrier
-Able to provide current Motor Vehicle Report to A&E
- Minimum of 2-5 years of HVAC installation experience
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
- Proficiency in using HVAC tools and equipment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols
**Physical Demands:**
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable working from ladders and in confined spaces
- Manual dexterity to manipulate tools and equipment
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
**Work Environment: **
- Exposure to outdoor environments and extreme temperatures
- Occasional high levels of dust and noise
- On-site work at residential and commercial locations

Compensation: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
