Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Department of Children and Family Services youth assessment and behavioral therapy, focusing on providing high-quality care to residents aged 16 to 21 living in a group home. This role requires proficiency in coding, including ICD-10, and an understanding of various therapeutic systems. The Clinician will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to support clients' mental health and well-being.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy services, including cognitive behavioral therapy, to clients of varying ages, with an emphasis on pediatric populations.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor client progress throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, ensuring compliance with coding standards such as ICD-10.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support for clients.
- Engage in research activities to stay updated on best practices in behavioral therapy and mental health care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a Clinician or equivalent credential in the state of practice.
- Experience in patient assessment and providing behavioral therapy services.
- Knowledge of pediatric mental health issues is preferred.
- Familiarity with coding practices, particularly ICD-10.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
