Hardworking, Dedicated, Compassionate Caregiver needed

This position would be a great fit for a retired nurse, social worker or similar background that would like to be helpful to the elderly and make a little money also. Currently, the schedule would beM, W, F 7:30 to 11 with one client in and possibly 11:30 - 1:30 (pay for the shorter shift is higher) or 3:30 with a second client. you do get paid for the 30 minutes of time between clients, even though it only takes 20 min to drive between them.

We can work out details depending on how many hours each week you are looking for.

Might turn into M-F if all goes well with the clients.

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to someone needing assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with showers
• Going for walks or attending exercise classes
• Housekeeping duties of sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, laundry at each visit.

Experience
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills:

• Ability to work with a highly independent client
• Ability to remain calm when client is refusing to follow through
• Ability to go for walks in neighborhood and assist with exercises
• Ability to make small talk and show interest in client
• Taking Vitals
• Ensuring meds are taken

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 18 per week
