We are seeking a Chiropractic Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Perform necessary therapy on patients
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
- Take patient histories, including past medical history and current concerns.
- Assist patients with chiropractic treatment plans, including preparation for procedures.
- Assist the chiropractor during treatments (e.g., adjusting tables, providing patient positioning support).
- Schedule patient appointments, confirm visits, and manage the clinic’s calendar.
- Answer phone calls, address patient inquiries, and provide general office support.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and confidential.
- Educate patients on proper posture, stretches, exercises, and home care instructions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields.
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures, and insurance protocols.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a love for patient care and bubbly personality!
- Ability to create strong lasting relationships with patients!
- Previous experience in a chiropractic office or healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Google Workspace) and familiarity with office equipment.
- Friendly, compassionate, and detail-oriented with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Physical stamina to assist patients and handle occasional physical tasks.
- Professional demeanor and proper use of medical terminology.
