What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant Grants Pass position at A First Choice Staffing Service?
We are seeking an experienced medical assistant for a clinic in Grants Pass. The primary focus is to support patient care, from assisting physicians in performing medical examinations to collecting specimens for the lab. Perform various tasks such as rooming patients, taking vitals, scheduling appointments, answering telephones, demonstrating equipment use, preparing examination rooms, focusing on patient comfort, and administering immunizations and injections; experience with vaccination is essential, with one year of experience minimum. This is not a training position.
The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7 am to 5 pm.
18-$24 DOE
Responsibilities :
- Assist in patient care
- Provides direct care to patients, including assisting with procedures
- performs exam preparation
- vitals
- rooming patient
- assists with obtaining information for patient care
- chart prep
- prior authorizations
- lab reports
- clean and stock rooms
- prescription refills
Additional Task :
Must be able to multitask, detailed, dependable, great with computers, professional, and team player.
Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen and current reference checks. You must be at least 18 to apply.
