Position Summary :
The Compliance Associate will support the Compliance Officer in ensuring that AFNB adheres to federal and state regulations, particularly concerning Medicaid HCBS services. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare compliance, familiarity with Medicaid regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures in alignment with Medicaid and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct routine audits of client files, caregiver records, and billing practices to identify potential compliance risks.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies to reflect new requirements.
- Prepare compliance reports and present findings to the Compliance Officer and Compliance Committee.
- Respond to internal compliance inquiries and provide guidance to team members.
- Assist in investigations of compliance-related incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Support compliance training initiatives for new and existing employees.
