Role Description
We are seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our team remotely on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for a teacher or educator looking to transition into a corporate training and development role. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our managers and team members are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to excel in their roles.
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing and Delivering Training Programs: Develop engaging and impactful training sessions for managers and staff, tailored to their needs and roles.
• Managing the Learning Management System (LMS): Oversee content creation, tracking, and reporting to ensure efficient delivery of training materials.
• Instructional Material Development: Create clear, professional, and user-friendly instructional resources to support ongoing education.
• Coaching and Mentorship: Provide one-on-one or group coaching to managers, focusing on leadership, team management, and branch growth strategies.
• Facilitating Training Classes: Lead virtual and in-person training sessions to support learning objectives and organizational goals.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
• Experience in Training & Development: Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate effective training programs.
• Expertise in Learning Management Systems (LMS): Proficiency in managing and optimizing LMS platforms to support organizational learning.
• Instructional Design Skills: Demonstrated ability to create engaging and impactful instructional materials.
• Strong Communication Abilities: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Coaching Experience: Prior experience in mentoring or coaching managers to improve team performance and achieve growth goals.
• Education/Teaching Experience: Background in education or teaching is highly preferred.
• Ability to Work Remotely and Independently: Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
