Responsibilities
- Provide patient monitoring to ensure safety and health.
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer basic patient care and support individuals with dementia or autism.
- Record and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Assist in memory care activities tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment within the group home setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client relationships.
Skills
- Proficient in patient monitoring techniques and patient care practices.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies and memory care practices.
- Ability to assist with vital signs monitoring and long-term care needs.
- Strong understanding of daily living activities (ADLs) assistance.
- Experience in a group home or similar caregiving environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
