What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Mark - Aerospace position at A&G Machine Inc?

As an A & G team member in the Part Marking Department, your job is identifying all parts with the correct part marking. This function is key for traceability and very important to the production process. Work as a team with coworkers to complete tasks and goals.

· Maintain a safe and organized work area, follow all safety policies and report all safety issues

· Monitor Part Mark Production Queue, identify and prioritize Jobs

· Properly fill out completed operations in work traveler and other documents

· Part mark per industry standards/ specifications and customer requirements, inform your manager with any issues

· You will be using Stamps, Stencils, Inkjet, Dot-peen, and hand engraver for Part marking

· Create Stencils using Laser system and Stencil machine

· Maintain Inkjet machine with fluids and clean any Ink build-up

· Apply Clear coat when needed

· Manage inventory of inks, bags, clear coats, tags, stencil sheets and cleaning solutions in Part mark area

· Use Calipers to Measure marking locations and Font sizes

· Bag Parts to Protect them for inventory or shipping

· Clean and touch-up Parts as necessary

· Maintain daily scanning documents

· Assist in Shipping and receiving department

· Complete any other tasks given to you by your lead or Supervisor

Requirements:

1) High school diploma or GED

2) Great attention to detail

3) Ability to manage you time effectively

4) People skills

5) Ability to lift 30lbs

6) Able to work over 40 hours when needed

7) Basic computer skills

8) Ability to read blueprints

9) Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time

10) Preferred but not required 2 years aerospace experience

11) Preferred but not required: forklift experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
