Full-time Medical Records Director qualifications include:
- 2 years of Management experience preferred
- 5 years of Medical Records experience, preferably in SNF setting
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Associates degree in Health Information/Medical Records preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Medical Terminology required
- Advanced understanding of administrative processes
- Experience with PCC preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Critical thinker/Problem solver
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage Medical Records department for community
- Ability to foster team work with all departments
- Superb documentation skills
- Strong organization skills
