A Game Beverages is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This is a fully remote position reporting directly to the CFO. CPA preferred. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-starter with a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in the food and beverage industry, specifically with CPG products. Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee all aspects of general accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual audits.
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and tax laws.
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff (if applicable).
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and best practices.
- Utilize and optimize Xero accounting software for maximum efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
