We are seeking a Lab Technician - 2nd Shift to work in our Rhome, TX facility. This person provides lab services, follows standard procedures, and works with cross-functional teams. The position ensures that all regulatory requirements are adhered to while performing work functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Lab Supervisor, conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on incoming and outgoing products for quality control
- Ensure proper documentation is obtained and Certificates of Analysis are provided as required
- Ensure laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies are maintained
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain proper records for regulatory compliance
- Assist in maintaining an active AHRI Accreditation through successful quarterly testing
- Maintain safety standards within the lab and operations
- Other duties as reasonably assigned.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
- College Degree preferred
- Previous experience in laboratory/quality control environment
- Gas chromatography and KF titration familiarity
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and certifications- AHRI, EPA, DOT, OSHA desired
- An excellent understanding of the pressurized equipment directive and its requirements preferred
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry and experience that includes working with refrigerants and/or fire suppression agents a plus
- Hazmat Certification and EPA 608 license obtained within 90 days of employment
Physical Demand Requirements:
- Frequently pushes, pulls, moves, and lifts up to 50 pounds independently
- Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information such as serial numbers
- Stands for long periods of time
