As a Key Account Manager at A-Gas, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our industry-leading refrigerant products by building lasting, high-impact relationships with Key Accounts and valued clients. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our business, expanding our customer base while delivering solutions that make a real difference.
In this role you will dig in with key customers to impact sales and the growth of the organization's products and services, through identified key accounts by understanding their needs, ensuring their satisfaction, and building long-term partnerships through face-to-face interactions. Additionally, this role will work to diversify the customer portfolio by adding new business. Primary Place Of Work
Home office with travel to A-Gas sites, customer, supplier, or other sites as required. This position may require greater than 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities
Pay for this role will be commiserate with candidates experience. This role will be eligible for base pay plus our sales incentive commission plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with identified Key Accounts through frequent interactions, solution-oriented consulting and maintain high level of customer service and satisfaction
- Develops strategic sales and growth plans to meet or exceed company goals
- Identifies and onboards new accounts to expand and diversify the customer portfolio
- Coordinate with manufacturer rep agencies to drive business results and build your book of business
- Reviews market analyses to provide input into customer needs, price schedules, and rates
- Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Service on promotions and programs that drive positive impact and provide superior customer service
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products
- Any other task as reasonably required
- Bachelor's degree required with experience with sales, or 5 years of relevant industry related experience in lieu of degree
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time to see customers and build relationships
- Previous experience working in Industrial Gas and/or Solution Selling; Refrigerants and/or HVAC-R experience preferred
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to analyze data and sales statistics to drive business results
- Experience working with wholesale distribution models preferred
- Experience working with Manufacturer Rep Agencies preferred
- Cold Storage, Industrial, and / or Commercial Refrigeration Technical Expertise desired
- Experience reclaiming and recovering gases desired
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Salesforce or other CRM products
