Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in someone's life. You will also be responsible to transport clients in company vehicle to and from the day program. Must have clean driving record.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in community activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Experience:
- Previous experience in nursing homes, home care, or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care practices
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
