At A Greater Austin Development Co. LLC, we are seeking a skilled Civil Estimating Professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately evaluating the cost of a project by preparing construction estimates from civil plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and understand civil construction plans, including blueprints and technical specifications.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and calculate material requirements.
- Input estimate information into estimating software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain a high work ethic, adhering to GADCO Safety Policies and company standards.
- Perform other duties and/or tasks as instructed or assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in construction/engineering discipline (or equivalent experience), preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans, including technical specifications.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, interact, and complete duties under tight deadlines.
- Must be organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- 1-3 years' of construction experience preferred.
