What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire/Lube Technician position at A.H. Beck Foundation Co., Inc.?
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance services.
- Inspect and replace tires, including mounting and balancing.
- Check and top off fluids, replace air filters, and perform other minor repairs
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report findings to supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience.
- Mechanic must have their own tools.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid insurance.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
- Knowledge of equipment with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Working Environments:
- Shop environment.
- Elevated positions while working on various equipment.
Compensation:
- Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications, hourly-based, and disbursed weekly.
