What are the responsibilities and job description for the Union Liaison position at A&H Security Services?

Union & Employee Relations:
- Act as a bridge between the 32BJ Union, A&H Security, and employees, ensuring compliance with union agreements and labor laws.
- Ensure union enrollments, removals, and updates are accurately reflected in company records and payroll.
- Work with HR, Finance/Payroll, and 32BJ Fund Representatives to ensure accurate union benefits, deductions, and compliance.
Roster & Compliance Management:
- Maintain accurate rosters and records between V3 and WinTeam software.
- Meticulous maintenance of the roster to avoid penalty
- Verify wage rates, job classifications, and site assignments with managing agents to maintain roster accuracy.
- Run weekly reports comparing V3 active union members with WinTeam master schedules to identify discrepancies.
- Remove inactive union members from rosters and invoices to prevent unnecessary union dues.
- Identify and update records for Prevailing Wage vs. Non-Prevailing Wage sites and whether supervisors must be unionized.
- Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting for the Union
- Assist with 32BJ Union Audits
Administrative & Reporting Duties:
- Monitor and respond to emails from A&H Security account managers, making necessary roster updates in V3.
- Notify 32BJ Fund Representatives of job site acquisitions or closures using the "Notify Us" tool in V3.
- Create Excel reports of union employees for new worksites and share them with 32BJ Fund Representatives to open updated member accounts.
- Track and report which union workplaces provide health insurance, ensuring A&H Security account managers consider benefits when transferring employees.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Economics or a related field preferred.
- Experience in Security and labor union environments is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of 32BJ Union policies, labor laws, Security Sector and compliance
- Knowledge of V3, WinTeam, MS Excel, and HR systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Must have Excel Skills (Vlookup, Xlookup, Large Data Set Manipulation, Pivot Tables, etc)
