CNC Operator Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including Fanuc-controlled equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining operations.
• Program CNC machines using CAM programming software as required.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products using basic math skills and measuring tools.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including knowledge of logic controllers.
• Strong ability in blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications.
• Experience with Fanuc systems is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with press brake machines is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques within a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
