We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Air Freight Export & Import Coordinator to join our team. As an Air Freight Export/Import Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across international borders. Your expertise will help us navigate intricate customs regulations, manage logistics, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in airfreight export & import coordination
- Certification in customs regulations (e.g., CCS, CES)
- Certified proficiency in CargoWise (min. CCO)
- Knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven capability to thrive in dynamic settings and consistently meeting tight deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate international air freight shipments
- Prepare and process air freight export/import documentation, including commercial invoices, airway bills, and customs forms
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, TSA regulations, and C-TPAT regulations
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and overseas agents to resolve issues and provide updates
- Manage and track shipments, including monitoring transit times and customs clearance
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and customs brokerage
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies and issues related to shipments and documentation
- Stay up to date with changes in customs regulations and trade policies
A plus:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field
- Knowledge of foreign languages
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
