We are currently seeking an
Assistant Front Office Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties may be assigned)
- Building and nurturing a performance driven, guest-oriented, culture at the front desk.
- Assisting in managing all aspects of front desk operations and team members, including selections, training and development, scheduling, and managing performance with guidance of the Rooms Division Manager.
- Greeting guests, answering telephones, and checking guests in and out. Resolving more complex guest requests or concerns that may arise.
- Preparing proactively for guest arrivals, in coordination with the housekeeping, sales, food & beverage, and other operating departments.
- Assisting with baggage handling, valet and shuttle service, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous front desk supervisor or management experience is required.
- Experience in a full-service hotel setting is strongly preferred.
- Experience with OnQ Property Management System strongly preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required.
ABILITIES
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
- Ability to cover any shift in the event of call-offs or other operational needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to manage effectively and develop strong working relationships with up to 10 direct reports.
- Ability to lift or exert force of up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to be detail-oriented and visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to be highly visible and interact with guests for the majority of the shift.
