We install, maintain, monitor, and inspect a wide range of integrated building protection systems, including access control, video camera surveillance, fire alarms, and burglar alarms. Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records by recording daily transactions, including income, expenses, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts regularly.
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure tax compliance.
- Prepare and manage multi state sales tax filings.
- Prepare tax filings and assist with audits when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external accountants to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support in managing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Handle additional administrative tasks related to financial operations as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Netsuite or Quickbooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g., AIPB, CPAs, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with managing a small business’s finances or in an industry-specific setting is an advantage.
