What are the responsibilities and job description for the INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN position at A Hiring Company?
Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc. is looking for experienced Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technicians to join our team at the Louisville, Kentucky – Global Drive location. This role involves performing routine building maintenance and cleaning duties, as well as handling maintenance tasks across various trades, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and more. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
SHIFTS: Hiring 1 (one) person for each shift
1st shift: Monday - Friday - 7:00am - 3:30pm
2nd shift: Monday - Friday - 3:00pm - 11:30pm (with shift differential pay)

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support machining production:
- Cleaning shop floor with scrubbing machine
- Dump scrap metal with use of forklift
- Mop and clean areas around machines
Support Facility Maintenance Projects:
- Use of forklift, scissor lift, boom lift
- Install network data cabling
- Clean interior shop walls
- Minor electrical maintenance
- Minor painting, carpentry and masonry work
- Minor plumbing
Performs other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably assigned by the employer or designated representative.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in facilities and maintenance
- The ability and willingness to learn
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to use common hand and power tools
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of electrical circuits
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Knowledge of plumbing systems
