About the Role
Are you passionate about housing stability and community building? Lilac Meadows is seeking a compassionate, bilingual, Live-On-Site Site Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our apartment community. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that residents have access to safe, supportive housing. You’ll manage the property, support tenants, perform light maintenance, and ensure compliance with Housing Authority policies and federal housing regulations. This is a live-on-site role — a 4-bedroom apartment is provided.
We’re looking for someone who can build strong relationships, solve problems proactively, and approach their work empathetically and professionally. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required for this position.
- Maintain on-site presence and provide compassionate, respectful property management services
- Conduct unit inspections, respond to tenant issues, and resolve conflicts
- Enforce lease agreements and Housing Authority policies
- Show units, assist with lease-ups, and support tenant onboarding
- Perform light maintenance and keep common areas clean and safe
- Support fraud prevention efforts and monitor tenant compliance
- Provide after-hours emergency response and on-call availability
