MAV Event Services, the premiere event services company in the region, is seeking passionate, experienced, and seasoned EMS professionals to join our MAV Injury Care team. As a MAV Injury Care team member, you will serve as event EMS specialists, providing onsite and quick-response emergency medical support to guests, patrons, and staff. MAV Injury Care is part of the larger MAV Event Services organization that deploys staff and teams to concerts, sporting events, conventions, fairs, community events, and private events throughout the Treasure Valley. MAV Injury Care is licensed, insured, and certified to work in the State of Idaho
MAV Injury Care EMS team members must meet the following general qualifications:

General position specifics:
- $22 per hour (EMT) $24 per hour (AEMT), $30 per hour Paramedic and up DOE, paid bi-weekly (Fridays) via DIRECT DEPOSIT
- Hours/Days/Shifts vary and are very flexible. Event based deployments.
- Company Match Simple IRA Investment plan 100% vested. Eligible once $5,000 earned.
- We work 365 days a year 24/7. We have a variety of shifts daily and weekly.
- Must wear ALL BLACK (shoes, socks, pants/shorts, undershirt). MAV will supply event shirts, coats, or vests for each detail. Professional attire ONLY.
- MUST pass thorough background check and have NO FELONIES.
- Position is located in Boise, Idaho and will support surrounding areas.

Requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess and maintain State licensure as an EMT, AEMT, and or Paramedic;
- Must attend sufficient continuing education classes and courses to maintain EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification, as required by the State of Idaho;
- Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification;
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license;
- Knowledge of rescue and emergency medical equipment;
- Ability to perform technical medical skills with a high degree of accuracy;
- Ability to understand and effectively deal with emotional and medical needs of patients;
- Ability to maintain a professional and objective approach to the care of ill or injured persons;
- Ability to learn new concepts in rescue techniques, medical skills and in event environment;
- Ability to perform basic maintenance of rescue and medical equipment;
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and orders;
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude when representing the Company; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships;
- Ability to safely drive and operate emergency vehicles;
- Ability to work four to twelve hour shifts;
- Regular and punctual attendance is required to ensure timely and quality emergency response services.
- OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- This position has been designated safety sensitive and therefore the incumbent is subject to random drug testing;
- The incumbent will be issued and must wear MAV Company uniforms while on duty and be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of both dress and safety uniforms, as well as all issued equipment.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The incumbent is required to operate emergency medical vehicles, move medical equipment and extract injured persons from a wide variety of situations involving event accidents, injuries or illness;
- At times the work requires movement over various types of terrain (hilly, steep, rocky, rough, and/or wet/slippery surfaces);
- The incumbent at all times must be able to carry or help carry someone from the site of the illness or injury to the transport vehicle; MAV Injury does NOT transport off the event site;
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 125 pounds (250 pounds with assistance);
- The incumbent must see, hear and communicate with the patient in order to perform a physical assessment;
- Must have ability to work various shifts and hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; this is a part-time position
- Work is typically performed in shifts of 4 hours to 12 hours.
