We are seeking a Project Manager to coordinate all phases of heavy civil construction activity associated with Bridge & Highway construction. The project work is centered on site-work, deep foundations, structural concrete, concrete paving, and general construction in the DOTD and Infrastructure Market. The Project Manager will track and manage scope, budget, and schedule to safely and effectively complete all assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
- Planning: Create a project plan, including timelines, deliverables, and specifications
- Budgeting: Prepare cost estimates and budgets, and manage the budget throughout the project
- Scheduling: Create a schedule for the project and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Managing subcontractors: Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors
- Quality control: Ensure the project meets quality standards
- Safety: Ensure the project complies with safety regulations
- Communication: Work with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project objectives
- Tracking: Track project activities from start to finish
- Risk management: Identify, assess, and control financial, legal, and other risks
