Minstar Transport, a small carrier located in Eagan, is seeking a Safety Admin to join our team providing support to safety and conducting new driver orientation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Dependable, reliable and self-motivated
- Experience in the trucking industry preferred
- Ability to plan and execute events, safety meetings, accident review meetings, and safety celebrations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Able to prioritize, set goals, and accomplish responsibilities with limited supervision
- Ability to develop, coach, and mentor others including the ability to provide development experiences, advise, and teach to prepare others for effective job performance
- Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency
- Possess strong office telephone and communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge including MS Office programs
- Demonstrated highly effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interact cooperatively and collaboratively with others as a team, including those holding divergent and/or opposing views and goals.

DUTIES:
- Coordinate and Conduct New Driver Orientation
- Update, create, and print permit books for new hires and manage it for current drivers.
- Assist with physical damage and OCC/ACC insurance policies.
- Assist with Pre-pass and Best-pass for new hires and manage it for current drivers and termed drivers.
- Update, create, and print independent contractor manual as needed.
- Update data entry in LME, LUMA, Drivers Reach, and other platforms; new hires-truck files, current driver-truck files, & termed drivers. Upload monthly maintenance reports.
- Assist with truck maintenance file records in LUMA and assist drivers in completing the required monthly maintenance records as required per 49 CFR 396.3. Notify management of non-compliant drivers regarding maintenance reports.
- Management of OS&D Claims
- Assist with the McLeod Anywhere app for drivers and educate drivers on the use of the app.
- Manage driver e-mail groups, add/delete drivers as needed.
- Assist with tractor and trailer maintenance file records as required per 49 CFR 396.3
