Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company's transactions, reports and statements. Specific tasks include but are not limited to:
· Maintain daily bank reconciliations.
· Forecast and request cash disbursements from bank.
· File weekly BBC (borrowing base certificate) with bank and maintain bank relationships.
· Reconcile and post AR cash receipts.
· Perform payroll processing and reconciliation.
· Make payments, as needed, regarding payroll.
· Prepare and file Colorado use tax return monthly.
· Enter accounting related information into appropriate logs, spreadsheets and databases.
· Organize and update financial records.
· Analyze and post journal entries.
· Prepare and participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
· Analyze transactions and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
· Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
· Cross train to develop knowledge of AP processes and procedures to help streamline.
· Recommend ways to streamline accounting processes.
· Other accounting duties as time permits.
