This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, acting as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to optimize operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of general ledger accounting.
Qualifications for a Medical Office Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, in an administrative role.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, billing, and coding practices.
- Proficiency in office management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Proven experience in Bookkeeping:
- Proficiency in financial software, particularly Quick Books.
- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliation.
- Familiarity with payroll processing.
- Prepare financial statements and reports as needed for management review.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
- Collaborate with accountants and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support.
